El Paso Medicare Advantage Plans 2018 (Part C)

Medicare Advantage Plans provide plan cost-sharing equivalent to cost sharing under Medicare Original (Parts A and B), but may provide more services and less expenses. It may include a Prescription Drug Plan (Part D).

Must be enrolled in both Part A and Part B in order to qualify for enrollment in Part C (Medicare Advantage Plans).

Medicare Part A (Hospital)

Part A helps cover inpatient care in hospitals that is medically necessary. 

Part A also helps cover:
Blood, Hospice care, Home health care, Skilled nursing and rehabilitative care only after a three day hospital stay, up to 100 days in a benefit period, Inpatient psychiatric care (up to 190 lifetime days).

Medicare Part B (Medical)

Generally it covers medically necessary physicians and other health care professional services, outpatient hospital, clinical lab and diagnostic tests, therapies, mental health care, medical equipment, and medications and supplies provided during a physician service.
